Since an early age, Gary has always enjoyed reading about and working with wood. In the last number of years since return back to civilian life and work, after serving in the army, he has become more involved with his passion for woodworking.
He has aquired many of the skills for working with wood. By building a range of his own tools, he has mastered skills in wood turning, carving, wood treatment and finishing. In developing his talents, Gary has produced a range of wooden dishes, bowls, vases, plaque carvings and handmade furniture, such as chairs and stools.
In more recent years, Gary has further devloped into the area of leather crafting. Gary makes a range of leather craft items such as leather handbags, wallets, purses, belts, dog collars, and a range of everyday use items like leather cable and wire tie toggles, handmade mobile phone cases and notebook holders etc. As well as providing custom made pieces, Gary can provide personal customisations to leather product with names, contact information etc. using leather emboss stamping, carving and foiling.
